Bernard Denture Clinic

Award-winning singer-songwriter and pianist Laila Biali melds “traditional jazz with contemporary pop so effortlessly that neither style seems out of place on the same record” (Spinner Magazine).

She has been sought after for tours with GRAMMY award winning artists Chris Botti, Paula Cole, Suzanne Vega and Sting. Laila has also headlined festivals and venues spanning five continents.

Her studio recording, Tracing Light, received a JUNO nomination for “Best Vocal Jazz Album of the Year”, and her follow-up, Live in Concert, was named one of the “Best Albums of 2013” by DownBeat Magazine.

Laila is currently set to release a new album of original songs alongside covers of David Bowie, Coldplay and more.

The Dead South

The Dead South

Onie Leighton

The Dead South are fast rising to be the new voice of North American Bluegrass. With Nate Hilts' gritty vocals and aggressive guitar strumming, Scott Pringle's soaring harmonies and mandolin chops, Colton Crawford's blazing banjo licks and steady kick drum, and Danny Kenyon's prominent cello melodies, The Dead South blends elements of folk, bluegrass, classical, and rock which results in a unique, modern, and authentic blend of boot-stompin' acoustic music.

With their white shirts and black suspenders, black pants and travellers’ hats, they sing about murderous, estranged spouses and runaway lover cousins. If these hillbillies give you the impression they will be a lot fun — it’s because they are just that.

Quartetto Gelato

Quartetto Gelato

Quartetto Gelato is unique quartet, boasting a Cirque de Soleil acrobat, a four-time world champion accordionist and a virtuoso violinist who is also a brilliant tenor. Four multi-instrument artists perform classical masterworks, Argentinian tangos, gypsy ballads and Latin love songs with plenty of humour and precision.

The group’s first DVD is still broadcast regularly on the PBS network. In addition to sold out performances in Tokyo, Korea, Mexico, New York and all across Canada, Canadian astronaut Dr. Robert Thirsk took their CD on board during his NASA flight on the space shuttle Columbia, and Quartetto Gelato was heard, literally, around the world. Their 9th disc features works written for the group by Canadian composers that highlight its signature style – a blend of fun, eclecticism, international flavours and superb musicianship.
